On September 25-26, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) with employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry and local financial authorities for the initial presentation of the automated Budget Information Management System software (BIMS SW), which will be used in the preparation of the budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
On the first day of the meeting, the process of preparing expenditure order documents and revenue forecast documents from subordinate units, presenting them to the relevant departments of the NAR Ministry of Finance, compiling them, and simultaneously presenting them to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan was discussed. The current functionalities of the system were presented in real-time by Tural Nasibli, a financial analyst and representative of the working group from SINAM LLC. During the meetings, technical questions and suggestions were addressed by Farid Samadov, the chief programmer and representative of the SINAM LLC working group.
On the second day of the meeting, a presentation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was held with Elvin Alimardanov, the Deputy Minister of Finance of NAR, and employees of the Ministry's central apparatus.
During the meeting, Fariz Jafarov, the head of the analytical group and representative of the SINAM LLC working group, provided information about the FARABI project, the history and stages of the ERP system created within the framework of the project, the institutions using the system, and the main modules of the system. Questions and suggestions from the participants were addressed during the meeting.
